Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Greet customers promptly, determine their needs, and answer questions in a friendly and professional manner.
- Sales: Consultatively sell batteries, light bulbs, and accessory items to retail and commercial customers.
- Merchandising and Inventory: Rotate and stock inventory, perform inventory counts, install batteries, perform tests, and load, unload, and deliver products.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain the store's appearance, including organizing daily recovery of displays, maintaining retail shelf label pricing, and preparing the store for daily opening and closing.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent and 6 months prior work experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Prior retail experience preferred but not required.
- Skills: Good listening and verbal communication skills, ability to gain quick and solid understanding of company's products, processes, point of sale, and cross-reference systems, and ability to handle multiple projects/tasks to effectively prioritize, follow up, and meet deadlines.
