Position Overview:

The Service Parts Inventory Coordinator II serves as the primary contact for all daily cross-departmental activities concerning service parts inventory management.

This role is essential in ensuring optimal inventory levels of service parts and accessories to meet the demands of the dealer network across various sales divisions.

Accountable for achieving a target service level for customers while maintaining ideal inventory levels and months of supply.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


1. Conducts thorough reviews and analyses to maintain optimal inventory levels for various parts categories utilizing all available resources, including SPM, SAP, SAS, and system-generated reports.

2. Identifies parts that necessitate in-depth analysis.

3. Executes detailed analysis on specific parts or categories as requested by management.

4. Coordinates supplier follow-ups for status inquiries, expedite requests, and other supply chain-related matters, providing comprehensive background and estimated time of arrival (ETA) updates as needed.

5. Performs stock adjustments, scrapping, or other inventory transactions within two days of receipt.

6. Undertakes additional job-related tasks as assigned.


ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:

Supervisor, Parts Supply Planning


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree with a focus on business-related fields or equivalent relevant work experience.

Demonstrated proficiency in the responsibilities of a Parts Supply Planner I and a minimum of one to two years in a similar role.

Experience in detailed analysis and parts forecasting is essential.

Familiarity with SPM or comparable planning software is preferred.


KNOWLEDGE:

In-depth understanding of parts inventory management, forecasting, and distribution principles.


SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational capabilities.

Ability to analyze and interpret statistical demand trends and supply regulations.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The role requires the ability to access, input, and retrieve data using a computer. This position is primarily sedentary within a controlled office environment, requiring occasional reaching, stooping, and lifting of office materials, typically weighing 5 lbs. or less.
