We are currently in search of a Lead Real Estate Fund Accountant to become part of our Real Estate Systems Implementation Group (RESIG) practice, with the flexibility to work from various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team to manage one or more client relationships.
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements, including but not limited to Balance Sheets, Investment Statements, Operational Statements, Cash Flow Statements, and accompanying Notes.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of general ledger and work paper files, covering capital and investment activities, as well as income and expense accruals.
- Prepare Partner Capital reports, including Partner Profit & Loss statements.
- Calculate monthly interest accruals, management fees, and capital allocations.
- Generate capital call and distribution notices, as well as sources and uses of cash reports.
- Conduct daily cash balance reconciliations for multiple accounts.
- Calculate quarter-end final and estimated Net Asset Values (NAVs).
- Support the year-end audit process in collaboration with the team, clients, and auditors.
- Mentor and train junior staff members.

Basic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in private equity fund accounting.

Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA certification or progress towards completion.
- A Master's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Familiarity with Yardi and/or MRI software.
