Job Title: Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team at Pinnacle Propane. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase sales and profitability in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the propane market, including commercial, industrial, and residential segments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, distributors, and partners.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence to develop and implement effective sales and marketing plans.
  • Manage and optimize the sales pipeline and forecast, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and results.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of your team and provide feedback, coaching, and training to enhance their skills and motivation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as operations, finance, safety, and quality to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred. Other related experience will be considered.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and business development in the propane industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals and growing market share.
  • Strong knowledge of the propane market, products, applications, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high degree of initiative and creativity.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory and occasionally outside the region.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM, and other sales tools.
