HR Specialist

The HR Specialist will collaborate with the Human Capital Manager and take charge of a variety of human resources functions including but not limited to: Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Campus Recruitment, Compensation Management, Compliance, and Benefits Administration.
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead talent acquisition initiatives for all corporate positions, ensuring Dwyer attracts exceptional talent that aligns with our organizational culture and core values.
- Manage the selection processes, including Culture Index and Vantage assessments.
- Supervise Dwyer's Internship Program and campus recruitment strategies.
- Act as the primary contact for onboarding processes.
- Organize and conduct new hire orientations for the Corporate Office and assist other locations with their orientation procedures.
- Promote Employment Branding and Employee Value Proposition initiatives to draw in top talent and enhance the candidate experience.
- Conduct annual and ad hoc compensation analyses for our manufacturing facilities.
- Lead and manage special projects as assigned by management.
- Serve as an HR Business Partner by anticipating business needs and responding proactively.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or Psychology preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting, ideally 5+ years.
- At least 2 years of recruitment experience required.
- PHR/SHRM-CP certification is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues using HR and business knowledge.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
- Exceptional communication, writing, and grammar skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software platforms.
- Ability to input data into computer systems and departmental software.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and external partners.
- Proficient in English communication, both oral and written.
- Ability to identify and communicate potential issues proactively.
- Ability to solve practical problems within established guidelines.
- Ability to interpret various instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to manage time-sensitive situations effectively.
- Ability to follow established procedures and protocols.

This position is based in an office environment where standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers are utilized. Work hours are typically from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with limited flexibility.
