Position Overview

Are you an experienced Technical Engineer seeking a new opportunity? Our client, a leader in technology solutions, is looking for a dedicated professional to contribute to innovative projects that drive technological advancement. This role offers a collaborative environment where your skills will be essential in shaping the future of technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with technology management, clients, and support teams to spearhead the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions that align with the organization’s current and future needs.
  • Engage in infrastructure architecture and design, research and development of new systems, and the establishment of technology standards and policies.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of user requirements and operational constraints, including unit testing and system integration.
  • Independently interact with business partners across various levels to clarify problems and gather business requirements.
  • Estimate the effort required for complex projects and coordinate vendor interactions as necessary.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Review documentation and proposals from less experienced staff.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of Financial Services trends and technologies.
  • Promote adherence to industry best practices and standards.
  • Maintain a high level of technical expertise and knowledge of relevant applications and environments.
  • Stay informed about vendor products, services, and updates.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • A minimum of 12 years of advanced experience in a technical engineering role focusing on infrastructure design, data management, and system development.
  • At least 7 years of experience with Ansible and Terraform.
  • Familiarity with OpenShift is preferred.
  • Experience with migrations from on-premises to cloud environments.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into structured, high-quality implementations.
  • Strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to develop alternative solutions to complex issues and recommend optimal solutions to project teams.
