Breast Imaging Supervisor Job Summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking a highly skilled Breast Imaging Supervisor to oversee the operations of radiology services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and experience in managing staff and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor staff utilization and productivity
  • Review test results to ensure quality and adherence to standards
  • Oversee operations of radiology services, including productivity and quality standards
  • Adjust protocols as needed to achieve high-quality results
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Train radiology technologists on new techniques and systems
  • Mentor staff in meeting professional goals and developing growth areas

Requirements:

  • Nine (9) years of related experience, education/training
  • Experience with subject matter knowledge of a radiology modality
  • Ability to apply principles to an acute care setting
