Radiologic Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Competently perform radiology procedures, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to deliver accurate results in a timely manner.
Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through effective communication and patient assessment.
Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as Sutter Health policies and procedures, to ensure patient safety and privacy.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
ARRT-American Register of Radiologic Technologist certification and CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist certification (from the state where work is being performed).
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification upon hire.
2 years of recent relevant experience in diagnostic radiology.
Preferred Qualifications:
General knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position with a variable schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
