Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Division Director of Energy Services, the Case Management Specialist is responsible for assisting clients in identifying appropriate energy improvement services on a long-term basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop individualized energy service improvement plans with clients.
  • Assist clients with applications, complete supportive and subsidized paperwork, and advocate for clients.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of service objectives and outcomes as well as other services in accordance with program and agency guidelines.
  • Prepare case management-related reports, including outcomes, challenges, successes, etc.
  • Provide financial assistance by referring clients to the MVRF program and other special programs.
  • Organize educational workshops and perform outreach to the community.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human services, education, communications, or a related field or Five years of experience providing services to low-income populations.
  • Knowledge of energy programs and energy-saving measures (preferred).
  • Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Skills in developing energy plans for clients and case management.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and familiarity with maintaining a database.
  • Ability to work effectively with and meet the needs of people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and identities.
Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment and uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines.
