Medical Surgical Acute Care Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Acute Care team at John Muir Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care and coordinate care through the therapeutic use of self, nursing process, and the environment and technology.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and relevant patient care models to create a compassionate healing environment.
- Ensure interdisciplinary collaboration and foster professional growth and satisfaction.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing - Required
- 6 Months Nursing - Acute Care - Preferred
- 1000 hours Nursing - Medical/Surgical - Must be Obtained within last 2 years - Non-core Requirement
- RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing - Required
- BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required
- NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale - No Issuing Agency Certification - Achieved by the end of orientation to the assigned area - Required
- NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale - No Issuing Agency Competency - Successful completion on an annual basis - Required
