We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Acute Care team at John Muir Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide rest and meal relief to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices and relevant patient care models.
- Coordinate and provide care through the therapeutic use of self, nursing process, and the environment and technology.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure interdisciplinary collaboration and foster professional growth and satisfaction.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
- 6 Months Nursing - Acute Care - Preferred.
- 1000 hours Nursing - Medical/Surgical - Must be Obtained within last 2 years - Non-core Requirement.
- RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing - Required.
- BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required.
- NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale - No Issuing Agency Certification - Achieved by the end of orientation to the assigned area - Required.
- NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale - No Issuing Agency Competency - Successful completion on an annual basis - Required.
This is a part-time position working 32 hours per week, with a pay range of $99.73 hourly. The work shift is 30 minutes prior to 4:00 AM, with no waiver.
