Become a vital member of the leadership team at West Central Community Action Partnership as a full-time Early Childhood Program Manager. In this essential position, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of program services and operations aimed at enhancing the quality and reach of early childhood education and family support services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and nurture partnerships with community organizations and resources to ensure program sustainability and meet the needs of families.
  • Oversee the effective operation of all components of early childhood programs.
  • Coordinate and supervise the delivery of educational and family support services in compliance with relevant performance standards and regulations.
  • Act as an advocate for children and families, fostering strong relationships with parents to encourage their active participation in program opportunities.
  • Support the training and election of parents to advisory councils.
  • Maintain adherence to agency policies and procedures while serving as a role model within the community.
  • Provide excellent service to the public and collaborate effectively with community partners.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Sociology, or a related field with a focus on Child and Family Development.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in comprehensive programming for children and families, including planning and supervisory skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and adequate vehicle insurance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • General knowledge of early childhood programs.
  • Understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds.

Essential Functions

  • Maintain connections with community partners to ensure ongoing service offerings.
  • Monitor compliance with performance standards and regulations.
  • Lead the development and implementation of program plans, ensuring they are assessed and revised annually.
  • Hire, train, and evaluate key personnel, providing necessary training in all service areas.
  • Ensure a safe and well-equipped classroom environment that meets all regulations.
  • Address family complaints and coordinate special education services for children with disabilities.

Work Environment
