Position Overview

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that the objectives set forth by the Radiology Department are met while continuously enhancing the areas of responsibility for the benefit of both patients and administration. Under the general guidance of the Director of Radiology Operations, this position allows for independent decision-making while providing assistance in the administrative office and overseeing activities within the Radiology Department. The role also involves managing various projects as assigned by the Director of Operations. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the procurement of supplies and equipment within budgetary limits using PeopleSoft.

2. Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes for non-catalog items and follow up for delivery updates.

3. Serve as a liaison to external departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

4. Stay informed about new practices and procedures to enhance service delivery.

5. Assist in the development and monitoring of a robust quality assessment and improvement program.

6. Exhibit sound managerial judgment and independent problem-solving skills.

7. Embrace new responsibilities and assignments readily.

8. Attend mandatory institutional and departmental meetings and training sessions as scheduled.

9. Organize work effectively and implement plans successfully.

10. Provide backup support for the Director of Operations as required.

11. Comply with hospital guidelines and protocols.

Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Community Health, Psychology, or a related field, along with one year of full-time experience in a supervisory or administrative role within business management systems, general administration, or healthcare administration; or,
2. A satisfactory combination of education, training, and experience.
