Position Summary

Under moderate supervision, you will be responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of mobile imaging equipment. This role may involve following a predetermined delivery route or managing third-party equipment moves, whether on long-haul, short-haul, or one-way trips.

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, with shifts primarily during nights and weekends. The ideal candidate should reside in the Manchester, NH area or its surroundings.

Key Responsibilities:

(85%) Equipment Transportation and Maintenance
  • Safely transport equipment to designated locations while adhering to a set schedule.
  • Set up and dismantle units following manufacturer and company protocols.
  • Conduct preventive and general maintenance in compliance with government regulations and company standards, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of transportation vehicles.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of transportation equipment, including regular exterior washing.
  • Execute monthly maintenance checks on vehicles.
  • Ensure that all tractors and trailers comply with DOT regulations at all times.
(10%) Administrative Duties
  • Keep accurate logs, including electronic logs and fuel/mileage reports, and submit them promptly.
  • Document daily vehicle inspections and monthly maintenance activities.
  • Complete and submit expense and time reports for approval in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all units have current registrations, permits, and insurance documents, assisting in obtaining necessary documentation from relevant agencies.
  • Communicate with customers and third parties to confirm delivery and pick-up availability.
  • Process expenses through Wells Fargo.
  • Track and manage payroll information using ADP.
(5%) Additional Responsibilities

Qualifications

Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Class "A" driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass DOT drug, alcohol, and physical examinations.
Preferred:
  • Five years of experience as a commercial driver.
