Job Summary:
Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist - Computed Tomography to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Position patients correctly and safely for imaging procedures
- Administer contrast media as required
- Monitor patients' responses to imaging procedures and report any adverse reactions
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Maintain accurate records of patient imaging procedures and results
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or Computed Tomography
- 1-3 years of experience in radiology, preferably in computed tomography
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
