Responsibilities
  • Lead group fitness classes on land and water, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for participants.
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective group exercise programs that meet the needs of diverse populations.
  • Collaborate with the Wellness Director to plan and implement wellness programs and services.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for members and participants.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in group fitness and wellness.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in exercise science, fitness, or related field preferred.
  • At least 18 years of age; must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Must have experience leading group fitness classes or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Must have certifications in CPR/AED and first aid; must maintain certifications throughout employment.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to work effectively with diverse populations.
