Job DescriptionAre you looking for a hands-on career with a bright future?

Laser Operator

We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our team at the Inventive-GroupTM in Mountain Home. No experience necessary, as we will train you to operate state-of-the-art machines in a clean and organized shop with great people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn to operate a state-of-the-art CNC laser cutting machine fed by an automated material tower
  • Follow color-coded procedures to sort and organize parts based on assemblies on carts
  • Use autonomous robots to send carts of parts throughout the shop by the click of a button
  • Learn how to replace laser consumables to maintain cut quality of parts
  • Inspect parts as they are cut to ensure cut quality before passing on to the next department
  • Use hand tools to unload parts and debur parts as needed
  • All Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required for the job will be supplied
  • Learn to operate a forklift

Requirements:

  • Great attitude and desire for self-improvement
  • Basic computer skills a plus
  • Good math skills
  • Enjoy working in a thriving team atmosphere

Physical Requirements:

  • Be able to stand and walk all the time
  • Ability to occasionally move objects weighing 50 pounds
  • Ability to respond to visual and audible queues
  • Ability to handle and move materials frequently
