Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Estimator to join our team in Sacramento. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for managing all documentation to ensure projects are compliant, on schedule, and within budget. You will also be responsible for obtaining, assembling, distributing, and filling all as-built drawings, warranties, certificates of occupancy, and lien releases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project documentation to ensure compliance, schedule, and budget.
  • Obtain, assemble, distribute, and fill as-built drawings, warranties, certificates of occupancy, and lien releases.
  • Schedule projects in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
  • Build and maintain relationships critical to the success of the overall project and company.
  • Track and analyze data to reduce gaps between estimates and actual costs.
  • Obtain and track subcontract bids and negotiate budgets.
  • Prepare and present estimate documentation, including gaps in available data.
  • Prepare estimates according to the requirements of multiple delivery systems. Review quotes and estimates with the project management team.
  • Assist with certain post-bid buyouts.
  • Initiate and participate in meet and greet presentations with subcontractors and suppliers.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or Project Management preferred.
  • Commercial construction estimating experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience in construction.
  • Ground up project knowledge and experience.
