Job Summary:

As an Estimating Lead at AECOM, you will play a critical role in preparing cost estimates for Rail/Transit Projects. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in cost estimating and leadership skills to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development of capital cost estimates for clients from planning conceptual level to final design and construction cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the development of information used to develop cost estimates.
  • Support the development of the bi-annual Programmatic Business Plan capital cost estimates, Program Baselines, and Project Update Reports.
  • Review Contractor estimates and claims.
  • Develop policies and procedures for programmatic cost estimating.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Civil Engineering, Construction Science/Management, or Quantity Surveying.
  • 10 years of relevant experience, including 2 years of leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of all design and construction disciplines means and methods used on transit infrastructure work.
  • Experience in database-driven estimating software and electronic quantity surveying systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of the principles and practices of estimating.
  • Mega program experience.
