Position Summary

The National Account Manager is tasked with driving the sales growth of our Chain Link, Wire, and Agricultural Fencing products through both established relationships and new market opportunities. This role involves leading sales initiatives within industrial, construction, and major retail distribution channels.

Utilizing your existing connections and exploring new avenues for growth, you will execute our sales strategies and objectives. You will oversee the complete sales cycle in collaboration with third-party sales representatives, guiding and managing daily account operations while analyzing and formulating sales plans and forecasts to enhance business performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business strategies and programs that deliver exceptional customer experiences for various distributors and co-ops.
  • Plan and coordinate online promotional activities for assigned clients to ensure sustained growth in this product category.
  • Lead and engage in all line reviews, partnership discussions, and market assessments.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product management teams to devise product assortments and marketing strategies for the designated territory.
  • Oversee territory growth across all segments, ensuring the execution of core, focus, and new product commercialization strategies.
  • Manage third-party representative agencies and the sales planning process, which includes creating and implementing tools and procedures for effective resource utilization in sales.
  • Establish systems for accurate revenue forecasting, unit demand assessments, and order flow management.
  • Conduct market analyses to identify customer needs, potential volumes, pricing structures, and discount strategies.
  • Monitor and control division expenditures to align with budgetary constraints.
  • Contribute to the development of an annual sales budget for each assigned account.
  • Deliver sales presentations and maintain relationships with all relevant accounts.
  • Oversee inventory and sales forecasting to meet company and customer objectives.
  • Analyze financials and P&L to achieve sales and profit targets for all assigned accounts.
  • Travel to attend industry events, company functions, and customer visits, with an estimated travel requirement of 35-50%.

Education and Experience
