The Washington Center for Equitable Growth is seeking a highly skilled Chief Economist to join our team. As a key spokesperson for the organization, you will be responsible for communicating our economic vision and policy positions to the public, media, and government officials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement economic policy strategies that align with our mission
- Provide expert analysis and commentary on economic issues and policy debates
- Collaborate with our research team to develop and disseminate research findings
- Represent the organization in media interviews and public forums
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in economics or related field; Ph.D. highly preferred
- 10 years of relevant experience in economic policy or research
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
