Position Title: Hourly Staffing Specialist

Role Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Hourly Staffing Specialist to enhance our Human Resources team. This position will primarily focus on recruiting for the Food Services and Environmental Services departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong talent identification skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to juggle multiple tasks in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment and Sourcing:

  • Design and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for Food Services and Environmental Services roles.
  • Leverage various sourcing techniques, including job boards, social media, job fairs, and community outreach, to engage potential candidates.
  • Screen and interview applicants to evaluate their qualifications and compatibility with the roles.

Candidate Management:

  • Oversee the candidate journey from application to onboarding.
  • Conduct initial phone interviews and coordinate in-person meetings with hiring managers.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates, providing updates and feedback throughout the recruitment process.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing requirements and facilitate a seamless recruitment process.
  • Offer insights and recommendations to hiring managers regarding candidate selection and hiring decisions.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to align with overall staffing objectives and strategies.

Administrative Duties:

  • Ensure accurate and current records are maintained in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Prepare and extend job offers, ensuring all necessary pre-employment screenings and documentation are completed.
  • Monitor and report on key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill and candidate source effectiveness.
Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of recruitment experience, ideally within the healthcare or hospitality sectors.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
