Job Summary

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is a key member of the ProAssurance team, responsible for managing the staffing efforts for the assigned lines of business. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead full life cycle recruitment efforts for assigned positions, developing and maintaining strong working relationships with hiring managers to achieve operational goals.
  • Assist in the development of job descriptions and recruiting plans, ensuring consistency across all postings.
  • Prescreen candidates and present to hiring managers for review, utilizing a thorough understanding of position requirements and candidate qualifications.
  • Manage all internal and external job postings, ensuring timely completion of HRIS system tasks by team members.
  • Develop a pipeline of diverse and qualified candidates for assigned lines of business/positions, leveraging a range of sourcing channels and techniques.
  • Build and maintain candidate sourcing channels, communicating organization information and benefits to potential applicants.
  • Identify and participate in recruiting events, including onsite career fairs and virtual recruitment events, to strengthen brand awareness for ProAssurance as an Employer of Choice.
  • Work with HR Business Partner and Talent Acquisition Manager to deliver hiring, interviewing, and onboarding training to managers and supervisors as needed.
  • Support internship program for assigned lines of business.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Stay abreast of current legislation and policy changes that impact the recruiting and hiring process.
  • Participate in department, cross-departmental, and organization-wide projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years talent acquisition experience with proven results working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of sourcing techniques using social media to identify top talent.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to flex under tight deadlines and at times, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
