Marketing Communications Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Communications Director to lead our marketing and communications efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing and communication strategies to drive enrollment, enhance fundraising efforts, and strengthen our institution's brand reputation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and communication plans to achieve business objectives.
- Lead a team of marketing communications professionals to create and implement marketing campaigns across various channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in marketing and communication efforts.
- Manage and maintain our brand identity and messaging across all touchpoints.
- Develop and implement crisis communications plans to ensure timely and effective response to crises.
- Monitor and analyze marketing metrics to inform data-driven decision making.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing and communications.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing communications, with a strong emphasis on content marketing and media relations.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive results.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and deliver impactful presentations.
- Experience in higher education is beneficial, but a diverse background with experience in other sectors is highly valued.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing, social media, SEO, and analytics.
- Experience with demand generation funnels and data-driven marketing strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience working with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform marketing strategies.
