About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our US Prime team at Amazon. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in driving strategic thinking and business partnership for the US Prime program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate financial trade-offs and identify new strategic opportunities for the US Prime program.
  • Evaluate key initiatives and processes to drive alignment and consistency in measurement of program performance.
  • Develop frameworks with KPIs to measure team success and drive business outcomes.
  • Perform market research using internal and external data sources and synthesize complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership and partner business teams.
  • Lead automation efforts of critical processes and lead monthly/quarterly/annual planning and forecasting cycles.
About the Team

The US Prime team is focused on delivering the most engaging, satisfying, and loved membership program that drives the Amazon flywheel by growing the member base and accelerating engagement with Prime benefits.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
  • BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science) and 5+ years of finance experience, or Master's degree and 3+ years of finance experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA, or CPA.
  • Knowledge of SQL/ETL.
  • 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience.
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
