Job Title: Senior Director, Finance

At TalentRemedy, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Finance to join our senior leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our financial systems, processes, and internal controls to support our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of financial planning and analysis models to inform business decisions.
  • Manage the preparation and reporting of operating budgets and cash flow projections to the Executive team, Finance Committee, and Board of Directors.
  • Oversee the financial accounting, revenue and expense forecasting, business planning, and reporting processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate budget reports for department heads and budget owners.
  • Partner with the Chief People and Diversity Officer and team to ensure relevant fiscal governance policies, practices, and procedures are in place, kept current, and evenly applied.
  • Provide financial training for staff, fostering a workplace culture where respect and a diversity of views flourish.
Requirements:
  • MBA or equivalent experience in a professional accounting designation (CPA) is a plus.
  • A minimum of 8 years in progressively senior operational roles within nonprofit/501(c)(3) or private sector organizations with experience in nonprofit accounting and financial systems.
  • Experience in change management, including implementing new organizational systems, processes, practices, and related information technologies.
  • Familiarity with geographically dispersed organizations, a remote work environment (e.g., Zoom, Slack, etc.), and a stable workspace with reliable internet access.
  • Self-directed and comfortable working autonomously.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and relevant FASB standards/updates.
  • Must have experience with Sage Intacct and Salesforce, as well as mastery of Excel.
  • A can-do mindset with a strong commitment to delivering results.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Personal integrity and excellent judgment.
