Finance Manager

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join the Amazon Q team. This role will be responsible for owning end-to-end finance support, including P&L management and planning. The successful candidate will drive strategic new feature launches and process improvements across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Take the lead in financial planning, building complex financial models and analytical tools to measure overall financial performance.
- Owning end-to-end P&L management, and influencing business decisions that drive revenue and/or capital expenditures.
- Support strategic new features launch and ad-hoc requests, and assist in various requests from finance and business leadership.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, including automation and coordination with upstream and downstream organizations.
- Partner with finance teams across AWS to standardize, streamline, and prioritize improvements, remove roadblocks, and increase the reliability and efficiency of reporting.
- 5+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business.
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools, and other financial systems.
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results.
- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause, and creating/implementing an escalation plan.
- MBA, or CPA.
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
