Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Specialist to join our team. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing successful sales strategies to drive rapid revenue growth and market share expansion in the territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual product sales goals
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Service, and Applications counterparts to achieve performance targets
  • Maintain accurate and timely opportunity funnel and customer data in SFDC
  • Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through sales and support assistance
  • Work with prospective and current customers to increase Leica Biosystems' influence and presence across territories
  • Monitor and develop awareness of competitive activities and strategies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science OR equivalent work experience and Minimum 3+ years of relevant sales (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven contract negotiation and high-level selling experience, or selling in a matrixed environment
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software
  • Travel and Motor Vehicle Record Requirements: - Travel - 50-75% and ability to travel overnight for territory coverage (if applicable) and/or for company meetings- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior capital sales experience
About the Role

This is a remote in-territory position that will require frequent travel to customer locations. As a Sales Specialist, you will be part of the sales team and report to the Regional Sales Manager responsible for leading sales representatives to exceed the organization's sales goals and deliver on commercial strategies.

What We Offer

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees. The base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
