About the position:

The Regional Sales Executive is primarily tasked with promoting the Intracept technology and delivering clinical and technical insights to healthcare professionals and their patients to meet sales targets. Join our mission to revolutionize the management of chronic low back pain.

Your key responsibilities:
  • Formulate and implement a regional business strategy that leads to the accomplishment of designated sales goals.
  • Exhibit proficiency in product and procedure knowledge, business insight, and established sales methodologies to achieve outcomes.
  • Facilitate clinical training sessions for relevant customers.
  • Inform healthcare providers, in a clinical environment, about the correct application of products.
  • Collaborate with facility decision-makers to ensure sanctioned usage of products.
  • Comprehend and educate healthcare professionals on patient care pathways.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the pricing and reimbursement landscape pertinent to products.
  • Oversee inventory and sample management processes, including compliance regulations, cost control measures, and field/sample inventory oversight.
  • Stay updated with company communications through technology, including but not limited to email, voicemail, conference calls, meetings, and CRM software.
  • Fulfill administrative duties, including customer interactions via CRM, timely expense submissions, and required training proficiencies.
  • Uphold high ethical standards and adhere to Boston Scientific compliance policies.
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • 5+ years of experience in external sales or sales management (medical device experience is highly preferred).
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a successful track record in new therapy launches and radiographic imaging.
  • Proven history of sales success.
  • Clear understanding of medical technology sales, territory management, and customer relationship management.
  • Experience engaging with hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers (ASC).
  • Experience navigating a challenging reimbursement landscape.
  • Experience in practice development by collaborating with physicians to educate their referral networks.
  • Able to travel up to 75%.
  • Must be capable of walking, standing, sitting, bending, and lifting to perform the essential functions of the role. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position involve normal vision.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in an Operating Room (surgical procedure exposure)
  • Experience in selling disruptive products
  • Experience with a comprehensive office approach to sales
  • Demonstrated history of success and growth in sales
  • Able to build strong relationships and connect well with clinical and economic decision-makers in physician offices, hospitals, and ASCs
  • Experience in developing and maintaining physician champions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with technology (email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software).
  • Positive, professional, team-oriented, proactive, and results-driven.
