We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Marketing/Leasing Consultant to join our team at Southport Apartments in Alexandria, VA.

This role will play a critical part in driving traffic, leasing apartments, and providing exceptional customer service to our residents and prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract new residents
  • Qualify prospects, prepare lease documents, and complete move-in procedures
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to residents and prospects
  • Assist in completing applications and required forms, and collect deposits and fees in accordance with Fair Housing practices
  • Submit applications for verification and approval to the Community Manager
  • Prepare move-in packages and conduct new resident orientations
  • Creative outside marketing and outreach initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bilingual a plus
  • Tax-Credit experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service and phone manners
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Good understanding of sales and marketing concepts
