Position Overview:
The ACS (Advanced Compute & Solutions) division is in search of a Solutions Program Manager to spearhead business operations within our rapidly expanding sectors, including Data Science, AI, and other cutting-edge domains.
This role involves collaboration with some of the most promising and innovative products at Hewlett-Packard.
Key Responsibilities:
The Solutions Program Manager will oversee the ACS Solution Lifecycle programs and is responsible for implementing essential program governance practices that empower program teams to operate effectively and efficiently, delivering groundbreaking product solutions that cater to customer needs.
Key duties include:
- Leading cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of all deliverables for comprehensive solutions.
- Ensuring alignment and ownership between internal and external partners to achieve program objectives as outlined by lifecycle processes.
- Championing the complete solution for assigned products or initiatives, providing leadership and direction to R&D, marketing, and supply chain teams.
- Demonstrating a continuous improvement mindset to identify and implement best practices in response to evolving customer requirements.
- Managing key programs that involve multiple functions and teams to drive the engineering development and implementation processes for various products or services.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, computer science, business management, or a related field, along with over 10 years of relevant industry experience. Familiarity with SaaS software program management processes, tools, and delivery is essential. PMP/PMI certification is preferred, as is experience with Agile development methodologies.
Skills Required:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, advanced program management skills, and excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills tailored to diverse audiences are crucial, along with a solid understanding of SaaS software delivery and technologies.
