Reliability Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Manager to join our team at Allied Mineral Products. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective, timely, and safe execution of all reliability activities, change management, and assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement reliability standards and best practices in collaboration with plant maintenance, engineering, and operations teams.
- Manage the maintenance organization, including leading direct reports, planning, assigning, and directing work, and establishing a skilled and competent workforce.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety policies, rules, and regulations, and maintain a safe working environment.
- Direct existing preventative and predictive maintenance work practices, and continuously improve processes and methods to improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Work in partnership with facility leadership to achieve facility objectives, and establish strong working relationships with internal customers.
- Provide technical ownership and leadership as reliability subject matter expert for Allied's Columbus facilities.
- Develop and champion the maintenance budget process, and foster partnerships in the cross-functional accountability of adhering to budgetary objectives.
- Utilize local resources, contractors, and suppliers to resolve complex maintenance challenges.
- Manage maintenance parts inventory stocking levels and usage.
- Support the implementation of Digitization and Automation projects for predictive maintenance and condition monitoring.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience required.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with supervision desired.
- Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving skills with knowledge across maintenance, engineering, and operations.
- Experience in facilities maintenance, inventory control, and fabrication desired.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, familiarity with OSHA guidelines, and strong troubleshooting skills.
Frequent exposure to Allied's manufacturing facilities, which may include dusty, hot, or cold conditions. Required to follow Allied Mineral Products Safety & Health policy and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as appropriate.
