Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Guidance: Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring that high-quality patient care is delivered in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and manage nursing staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
  • Clinical Practice: Participate in clinical decision-making and provide expert clinical guidance to nursing staff.
  • Quality Improvement: Collaborate with the healthcare team to identify and implement quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with the expectation of obtaining a BSN within five years.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year experience in an acute care environment.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current Michigan Nursing License, Valid BLS certification, and ACLS certification within one year of hire.
  • Skills/Knowledge: Strong clinical expertise, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
