Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director of Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine to lead our team of physicians and advanced practice providers at Uniontown Hospital. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a commitment to providing excellent patient care, and a passion for the professional development of the healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership to the Pulmonary Critical Care section, collaborating with hospital leadership to develop and implement policies and procedures.
  • Practice in and oversee the pulmonary clinic, ensuring high-quality outpatient care, and lead the inpatient pulmonary consult service, providing expert consultation to hospitalized patients.
  • Direct bronchoscopy services, ensuring optimal diagnostic and therapeutic outcomes, and manage the critical care unit, coordinating care for critically ill patients.
  • Oversee the sleep program, ensuring comprehensive evaluation and management of sleep disorders, and function collaboratively with the Trauma and Critical Care Institute of WVU Medicine.
  • Mentor and guide physicians and APPs within the Pulmonary Critical Care section, facilitating ongoing education and training to ensure the team stays abreast of the latest advancements in the field.
Qualifications
  • Board Certification in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated leadership experience, and a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
