About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Director to join our team at Trustmark. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business sales and expanding existing relationships with major worksite and voluntary benefit distributors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong, consultative partnerships with distributors to drive new business sales and expand existing relationships.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed annual sales targets.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market intelligence, and product information to effectively communicate the value proposition to customers.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of sales activities, including pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales implementation, key account managers, and marketing teams, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in voluntary product sales or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven consultative sales experience with a strong track record of driving new business sales and expanding existing relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and make good decisions in a timely manner.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
