Recently, RxLogix's PV Surveillance Suite Platform was chosen by the FDA to modernize its legacy FAERS signaling system, utilizing our advanced modules for data analytics, signal detection, evaluation, signal management, and benefit-risk assessment.

Position Summary:

The Director of Finance will oversee the organization's financial management, business planning, and budgeting processes. This role demands strategic insight and proactive leadership to manage financial operations, secure long-term financial health, and facilitate the company's growth ambitions. The Director will work closely with senior leadership to influence the financial strategy of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Strategy and Planning:
    • Formulate and execute the financial strategy to align with business objectives and growth targets.
    • Lead the annual budgeting cycle, incorporating long-term financial planning and forecasting.
    • Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to the executive team to support informed decision-making.
    • Evaluate and manage financial risks and opportunities.
  2. Financial Management:
    • Supervise all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
    • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
    • Monitor financial performance against established budgets and forecasts, identifying trends and suggesting improvements.
    • Manage the capital structure, including equity and cash management.
  3. Business Analysis and Reporting:
    • Examine financial data to pinpoint key performance drivers and areas for enhancement.
    • Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
    • Lead financial modeling and analysis for new initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, and strategic opportunities.
  4. Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure adherence to all financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting obligations.
    • Oversee the establishment and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
    • Coordinate with external auditors for timely and accurate audits and financial reviews.
  5. Leadership and Team Development:
    • Guide, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting teams, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
    • Provide direction and support to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
    • Collaborate with HR and other departments to enhance financial literacy across the organization.
  6. Cost Management and Efficiency:
    • Identify and implement opportunities to optimize costs and enhance operational efficiency.
    • Establish financial systems, processes, and controls to support the company's growth.
    • Evaluate vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree in finance is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity. Experience in a similar sector is advantageous.
  • Certifications: CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), or equivalent financial certifications are highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel capabilities. Experience with financial modeling and analysis tools is essential.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. Capacity to inspire and motivate others towards achieving organizational goals.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to convert financial data into actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ethical Standards: High integrity and commitment to ethical financial management, with the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, focused on achieving positive outcomes.
