Job Title: Technology Support Specialist

Kellogg Community Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Technology Support Specialist to join our team.

The Technology Support Specialist will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our information technology systems, ensuring they remain secure and functional. This role will collaborate with team members and vendors to install, maintain, and upgrade essential hardware and software systems, providing support to the Credit Union team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to team members by troubleshooting and maintaining PCs, printers, terminals, and other IT hardware.
  • Install, maintain, and upgrade end-user hardware and software, ensuring systems remain secure and functional.
  • Work with the IT team and external vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure quality service.
  • Design and maintain systems documentation and processes, ensuring compliance with security regulations and Credit Union standards.
  • Research new technologies, evaluate hardware and software upgrades, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensure administrative control over the Credit Union's IT assets, including software licenses, hardware, and related supplies.
  • Assist with special projects.
Requirements:
  • One to three years similar or related experience.
  • Two-year college degree or related certifications.
  • Strong computer skills, including the Microsoft suite and other common software applications.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent time management skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, written and oral across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Ability to interact with others on a regular basis and build relationships.

Ideal Candidates must have strong availability Monday - Friday until 6:00PM, and 1:00PM on Saturday.
