Job Summary:

The Vending Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and customer service for vending machine operations. This role involves troubleshooting equipment issues, ensuring optimal machine functionality, and addressing customer inquiries and concerns. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues with vending machines, including hardware and software problems.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vending equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

• Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers for technical assistance and parts replacement.

Customer Service:

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and service requests related to vending machine operations.

• Provide clear and helpful information to customers regarding product availability, machine usage, and troubleshooting steps.

• Handle customer complaints and escalate issues as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.

Operations Management:

• Monitor vending machine performance and inventory levels to ensure timely replenishment of products.

• Assist in setting up and configuring new vending machines, including programming and testing.

• Maintain accurate records of service calls, maintenance activities, and inventory usage.

Quality Assurance:

• Conduct regular inspections of vending machines to identify and address potential issues before they affect service.

• Ensure all machines are clean, stocked, and in compliance with company regulations.

Training and Development:

• Provide training and guidance to new team members on vending machine operations and customer service protocols.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in vending technology to enhance service delivery.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience with Microsoft Power BI and Excel

• Proficiency in data analytics

• Proven experience in a technical support or maintenance role, preferably in the vending industry.

• Strong mechanical and technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Comfortable working in various environments, including office and industrial settings.

• Willingness to travel to different locations for service calls.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position with a standard workweek; may require occasional evenings or weekends.

• On-call availability for emergency service requests.
