Data Center Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Data Center Engineer to join our team at Technical Global Solutions. As a Data Center Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out cabling infrastructure and network hardware support at client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cabling infrastructure and network hardware support at client sites.
  • Monitor the client's ticket system for service requests.
  • Audit and document cabling and desktop configurations.
  • Execute patching, break-fix, circuit provision, and recovery tasks.
  • Conduct testing and fault finding on both copper and fiber cabling infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Experience in voice and data cabling environments.
  • Strong understanding of modern computer network infrastructure.
  • Practical experience in terminating, test equipment, and test techniques.
  • Knowledge of racking and stacking server hardware and systems.
  • Familiarity with LAN/WAN and active devices.
  • Proficiency in using modern handheld cable standards testers and light source and power meter.
