Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Ventura Foods LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Install, modify, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors to identify and address production issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide guidance and support to production personnel to ensure quality and productivity.
  • Assist in solving process, quality, and production problems.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent and 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to follow blueprints and technical instructions.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
  • Working knowledge of electronic and electrical concepts and operating safety.
  • Demonstrated ability to use hand and power tools commonly used in electrical, electronic, and mechanical trades.

Physical Demands
