Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Shop Mechanic to join our team at ISC. As a Shop Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles and construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and diagnose issues with vehicles and equipment
  • Perform repairs and replacements of defective parts
  • Test and troubleshoot mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment and components
  • Occasional travel to jobsites out of state to repair vehicles/equipment

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working on pickup trucks, heavy trucks, construction equipment, and trailers
  • Able to provide own basic hand tools
  • Ability to weld (not necessary, but a plus)
  • Ability to drive / operate equipment
  • The ability to frequently lift, push, pull and/or move 50 pounds, regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance
  • A valid driver license and an acceptable driving record
  • A negative drug and alcohol test throughout the tenure of employment
