Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Court-Ordered Services Coordinator to join our team at Peoples Health Care Connection LLC. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing treatment and support to clients with DUI charges, domestic violence charges, and other court-ordered service needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Services: Provide treatment that promotes client dignity, independence, individuality, strengths, privacy, and choice while respecting cultural differences and demonstrating ethical behaviors.
  • Education and Training: Educate clients about the signs and symptoms of their behavioral disorders, teach them strategies for controlling their impulses and improving their judgment, and train them in how to prevent a recurrence or relapse with their behavioral problem.
  • Group Facilitation: Attend group meetings weekly, model appropriate communication and leadership skills, and promote a healthy lifestyle and teach healthy habits to clients.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Complete all necessary paperwork, including monthly reports, progress notes, time sheets, orientation paperwork, and intake paperwork, within 24 hours of the date of service or next business day.
  • Program Development: Participate in program outreach to maintain a continuous stream of clients and ensure that each group member signs in on the Group sign-in Sheet for each week.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and Understanding: Knowledge and understanding of DUI/DV Impulse Control Disorders, thorough understanding of group dynamics and group process, and excellent therapeutic and personal boundaries and ethics.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent teaching skills, ability to perform crisis intervention, bilingual in English/Spanish preferred, good verbal and written communication skills, flexible, compassionate, and caring personality, and ability to set appropriate limits with clients when necessary.
