About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Director to join our team at Spectrum. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of our system, ensuring the integrity of our cable plant, and providing technical support to our field locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Direction: Provide direction and leadership to our system technical department, ensuring the effective execution of maintenance operations and the achievement of business objectives.
  • Maintenance Operations: Oversee the maintenance operations of our system, including demand and predictive maintenance, and ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with company standards and procedures.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to our field locations, including new or existing technologies, operational standards, and staff development.
  • Contract Labor Management: Manage contract labor resources, including adherence to scope of work and quality standards.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide reports to Field Engineering management on activity and results, and participate in the preparation of the capital and operating budget process.
  • Compliance and Regulatory: Ensure compliance with FCC standards and regulations, and maintain records as required by system, regional, and corporate offices.
  • Employee Relations: Establish positive employee relations through effective communication and ongoing support.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: NCTI Advanced Technical Certification or SCTE Certification or equivalent.
  • Experience: System engineering experience - 5+, Management experience - 2+.
Preferred Qualifications
  • FCC General Radio Telephone/Radio Telegraph license or equivalent.
