Job Summary

Sayres Defense is seeking a skilled Project Control Analyst II to support the finance team at the company headquarters. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial data, tracking project progress, and ensuring compliance with government contract regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage financial data, including Estimates At Completion (EAC), Monthly Status Reports (MSR), and Invoices
  • Track project progress and identify potential risks related to funding burn and exhaustion
  • Serve as a liaison between the finance team, program managers, and external clients
  • Interface with accounting teams to track contract-related financial charges
  • Manage accounts receivable aging and reconcile unbilled receivables
  • Effectively communicate with customers to resolve billing issues
  • Work with contracts and subcontracts to track funding and modification statuses
  • Perform quality control checks to verify information entered in Unanet
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in financial management and program control
  • Knowledge of Federal Government contract types, including Cost Plus, Time and Materials, and Fixed Price
  • Excellent Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups
  • Knowledge of Unanet Accounting Software preferred
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and remain flexible
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of accounting practices and concepts
