Job Title: Positive Behavior Support Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Positive Behavior Support Leader to join our team at Rivermont, A New Story School. As a key member of our administrative team, you will play a critical role in providing leadership and support to our Mental Health Associates.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and monitor Mental Health Associates to ensure quality service delivery and adherence to best practices.
  • Lead debriefs and analysis of serious behavioral incidents to identify areas for improvement.
  • Review and monitor Riskmaster and Serious Behavior incident reporting for consistency and accuracy.
  • Train and mentor Mental Health Associates on behavior management strategies and interventions.
  • Coach staff on appropriate interventions during behavioral situations.
  • Exercise independent decision-making to ensure the safety of the school environment.
  • Collaborate with the Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) leadership team to drive adoption and implementation of PBIS practices.
  • Operate school vehicles in accordance with school policy.
  • May be required to travel to meetings, professional development, or perform student transportation.
