Position Overview: The Client Solutions Engineer plays a crucial role in delivering tailored applicator solutions that enhance customer experience and ease of use.

Role Responsibilities: This newly established position in the USA requires a candidate who can work independently and effectively. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and constructing applicators, while identifying areas for improvement and overseeing installations at client locations.
  • Managing projects for each opportunity, conducting site assessments, and providing strategic recommendations for optimal placement of Filtrona applicator solutions.
  • Conducting in-house testing to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Overseeing the final assembly, installation, and commissioning of applicator systems, adhering to required safety protocols.
  • Providing ongoing maintenance and support as needed by clients.

Customer Interaction: This position is highly customer-oriented, necessitating strong communication skills in both verbal and written forms across various functions and organizational levels. The role involves presenting efficient and cost-effective solutions to clients and supporting the sales team in closing deals promptly. Travel commitments of up to 50% are expected.

Collaboration and Development: Collaborate with Sales & Marketing and Product Development teams, as well as current and potential suppliers, to ensure continuous advancement of market-relevant applicator solutions. Engage in research and development of new technologies to maintain a competitive edge in target market segments, while evaluating competitor offerings to enhance our value propositions.

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in field engineering, solution engineering, or after-sales support.
  • Comprehensive understanding of packaging products or services, including technical specifications and troubleshooting methods.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues, often requiring analytical and PLC troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of relevant equipment.
  • Ability to create and interpret technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and product specifications.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD for technical and mechanical drawings.
  • Demonstrated project management and customer-facing experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Knowledge of the food and beverage industry is advantageous.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or customer service is preferred.
  • Ability to research and develop innovative solutions and technologies to meet customer demands.
