Job Summary:
St. Peter's Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of medical imaging procedures, including X-rays, fluoroscopy, and other specialized tests.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, fluoroscopy, and other specialized tests
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering questions
- Develop and process radiographic images, ensuring high-quality results
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and policies
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in radiology or a related field
- BLS and ARRT-R certifications, along with a valid MT license
- Experience with fluoroscopy and other specialized imaging modalities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care
Work Schedule:
8 shifts on, 6 shifts off, with varying night hours and no call required. Must work holidays that fall on scheduled days off. 70-mile radius rule applies.
