Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Stability Direct is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Saint Helena, California.

Job Summary:

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing ultrasonic diagnostic procedures in accordance with accepted protocols as directed by physicians. You will produce images of internal body tissues to diagnose and monitor various conditions, such as heart disease, pregnancy, and cancer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures using high-frequency sound waves to capture quality images of internal body tissues.
  • Summarize, document, and present images, findings, calculations, and measurements to physicians for diagnoses.
  • Adhere to ultrasonic diagnostic procedures, precautions, and standards.
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessing patient condition and ability to cooperate.
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information.
  • Ensure the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/certificate from an Ultrasound college/school.
  • ACR Accredited Sites: All sonographers must be certified and currently registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB) or Vascular (RVT); or Cardiovascular Credentialing International Registered Vascular Specialist (CCI-RVS); or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Sonography (S) or (VS) within one year of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification.
