Computed Tomography Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Specialist to join our team at Adventist Health. As a key member of our imaging services team, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.

Responsibilities:

* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.
* Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
* Use PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.
* Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information, ensuring the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations.
* Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory.

Requirements:

* Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
* Licenses/Certifications: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
* Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA
* Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA
* Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required
* Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred in CA and OR
* ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): Required
