Job Summary:

As a Digital Marketing Specialist at OUR COMMUNITY CREDIT UNION, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing our digital marketing efforts and online presence. This role involves developing and implementing digital marketing strategies, managing content, search engine optimization, and analyzing campaign performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing plans to meet business objectives in collaboration with the Director of Marketing.
  • Work collaboratively with the OURCU Marketing Specialist to strategize content creation and execution for social media, website, digital advertising, and email marketing.
  • Oversee website updates and blogs using Square Space and other CMS platforms, ensuring that all information is current and accurately reflects the brand.
  • Optimize web content for search engines and manage search engine marketing campaigns to improve visibility and traffic.
  • Use data analytics tools to monitor and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
  • Design and execute email marketing campaigns to engage and retain customers.
  • Track and respond to member reviews, inquiries, and feedback through digital channels.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of credit union compliance regulations to ensure all marketing campaigns adhere to legal standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with OURCU team members to ensure brand consistency and appropriate credit union compliance requirements across digital channels.
  • Stay updated on social and digital marketing industry trends and adapt the organization's platforms accordingly to maintain relevance and competitiveness.
  • Assist Community Engagement Manager and Regional Community Development Officers at in-person and virtual events, when needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in digital marketing, communication, data science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in digital marketing or a related role.
  • Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Preferred experience with CMS, CRM, and other data-driven tools: Square Space, HubSpot, Tableau, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and creative ideas on tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and a high level of confidentiality.
  • Financial Institution experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform occasional physical activities such as lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting, twisting, and reaching.
